Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because dawn has come. Rabindranath Tagore

This memorial website was created to remember our dearest and sweetest Theresa Licsauer, mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend who was born in Hungary Papa on January 9, 1951 and passed away on October 2, 2007. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
Anyone who knew Theresa knew that she had a special fondness for Butterflies and of course, ELVIS!  May she be free and light as a Butterfly while she dances to her favourite melodies of Elvis.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

It"s overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt.

Treasure the love you receive above all. It will survive long after your gold and good health have vanished.

Theresa, THANK YOU for sharing time on  earth with me. I am a better person because of you.  LOVE ALWAYS,  Nancy  xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Who could ever forget Teresa! Growing up just like a sister. No matter how bad things got, she never let things get her down, always a good word and always a smile. Even in sickness brave and smiling to the end. What a great person and friend. A great example of someone brave and courageous. I am happy I got to know you Teresa and hopefully you find all the happiness you deserve in the next world.

Oh dear sweet Theresa, I have always been a firm believer that God knows what he is doing and yet I still struggle at times with why he chooses who he chooses to leave this world so early...I guess we all must just consider ourselves blessed for knowing we had you as long as we did in our lives, even though it seemed too short. You were always my best friend and even though miles were between us the bond you and I SHARED WAS ALWAYS STRONG. As I think of you right now the tears roll down my face as I remember that special quality that you had for really making people feel your love. I have many friends but none have ever made me feel so truly loved.I know one day we will meet again, but for now I keep your memory alive in me. May you dance with the angels above to your favouite Elvis songs and know that you are in all of our hearts. LOVE ALWAYS,Lilly xox

What I miss most about Theresa is her easy laughter.  She had a very distinct laugh and you could tell her laugh from anyone elses from a mile away.

Dear Theresa,

I miss the talks we used to have over tea at your kitchen table.  No matter what Moe and I were going through, you were still so kind to me.  More often than not, you treated me like your daughter and I will never forget this.  I appreciate every moment we had together.  I learned so much from you.  Rest well my friend, parent, until we meet again.

Love always,

Tanya

C.Bouguet My deepest condolences January 8, 2019

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Please go to the following link to obtain more information regarding the Hope expressed in this passage and again we are sorry for your loss.
